Account Data Export and Deletion

This page explains how to export your FootyWow user data or delete your FootyWow account and associated personal data.

This page applies to users of:

  • footywow.com;
  • the FootyWow Android app;
  • the FootyWow Customer Hub;
  • FootyWow account, favourites, email notifications and app account features.

1. How to export or delete your account data

You can export your user data or delete your account in the following ways:

  1. In the FootyWow Android app, go to:

    My FootyWow → Data & privacy

  2. On the website, use this public account and data deletion page:

  3. You may also contact us through:

    https://footywow.com/contact/

Please use the email address connected to your FootyWow account when making a request, or include enough information for us to verify the account.

2. What data may be exported

Your exported user data may include account information and user-controlled data connected to your FootyWow account, such as:

  • email address;
  • account details;
  • saved favourites;
  • notification preferences;
  • app/account settings;
  • relevant account activity available for export.

The exact export format may depend on the current account system and available data.

3. What data will be deleted

When your account deletion request is verified, we will delete or anonymise personal data that is no longer needed, which may include:

  • account profile data;
  • login identifiers linked to FootyWow;
  • saved favourites;
  • notification preferences;
  • app notification or email notification settings;
  • Customer Hub account data;
  • non-essential account activity linked to your profile.

4. Data we may need to keep

Some data may be retained where necessary or legally required, including:

  • security and fraud prevention records;
  • records needed to resolve disputes;
  • support correspondence necessary for legal or business records;
  • anonymised or aggregated analytics that no longer identifies you;
  • data required by law or platform rules.

5. Payments and subscriptions

FootyWow does not currently sell premium subscriptions, paid predictions, paid app features or in-app purchases. Therefore, there is currently no FootyWow payment subscription to cancel.

If paid services are introduced later, this page will be updated with subscription cancellation information.

6. Processing time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

We may contact you if we need more information to verify your identity or complete the request.
